AngleBase® - Engaging - 4.3/5.0 (RP) - 37.042
The DESS ANGLEBase® Ti Base for Nobel Active® connection is a precision engineered restorative component featuring our vertical wall design which provides maximum bond retention while allowing for substantial surface area for bonding and aesthetics. It provides you with up to 25 degrees of angulation, 360 degrees of access, and includes a flat seat screw. Which provides optimal preload and proper alignment when compared to a traditional conical screw design; which is ill suited for angle screw channels.
When DESS engineers began designing ANGLEBase® ti bases they had several goals in mind - creating an angled screw channel ti base that was easy to use, compatible based on the original implant specifications, had a connection that exceeded the tolerance and fit of the implant industry, etc. but perhaps what was most important was this - How do we design an angled screw channel tibase that eliminates a fundamentally flawed design with tapered walls?
A tapered wall has over 68% less bond retention, regardless of the height of the walls when compared to a vertical wall design. This weaker design leads to an increase in the likelihood of debonding and impacts the overall stability of the restoration and the implant.
So they set about developing the only vertical wall ANGLEBase® ti bases available on the market at the time. Which you will see through the entire ANGLEBase® ti base portfolio. Now you have an intelligently engineered and designed ANGLEBase® ti base with the long term and superior structural integrity that you should have had in the first place. Along with the availability of multiple collar heights, giving you a part that is the best option for maximizing bond retention, bondable surface area, and aesthetics.
In addition, all DESS ANGLEBase® ti bases arrive ready for cementation and sandblasted as part of our manufacturing process using the DESS patented SelectGrip® process. This is a uniformed, industrial applied sandblasting of 50 um alumina oxide particles, resulting in a surface with 2.5 greater bond adhesion than a non sandblasted ti base. This processes eliminates the need for you to spend time creating retention after receiving the part, saving you time, and eliminating the opportunity for costly errors when sandblasting in house.
DESS designs and manufactures all of their components with the final user in mind, making the switch is seamless and easy. DESS components are manufactured to be 100% compatible with the original implant systems and match the original manufacturers specs for tension, fit and compatibility. Our components undergo rigorous and precise testing using state of the art measuring instruments to ensure that every component does exactly what it is supposed to every time.
Not only that, but DESS ANGLEBase® ti bases are FDA approved, which means their components have gone through extensive stress testing in extreme conditions, and come backed by a lifetime replacement warranty on both the original implant and DESS component. All while saving our clients an average of 60% off the original manufacturer's price tag.
DESS components are manufactured with precision in Europe in our state of art factory using medical grade materials from the U.S. Each batch is inspected to ensure that the tolerance and fit of the abutment connection and abutment screw is consistent and 100% compatible with the original implant manufacturer's connection specifications.
We back this up with a lifetime replacement warranty on the original Nobel Biocare® implant and DESS abutment.
DESS has an extensive line of Nobel Active® compatible components for all platforms - 3.0, NP/3.5, RP/4.3-5.0, WP/5.5, and Multiunits. This includes scan bodies, ti bases, angled screw channel ti bases, angled abutments, multiunit abutments, titanium temporary abutments, all plastic abutments, chrome cobalt abutments, healing abutments, and premills for custom titanium and chrome cobalt abutments. In addition DESS offers a complete line of thumb knobs, dental lab handles, screw drivers, multiunit drivers, and other tooling to assist you with restoring implant cases.
